Once your order has been processed, an email will be sent to your email address containing your Serial Number and full instructions on how to download and authorize your new software. Make sure to check your junk or spam folders if you do not see this email.

 

Digital Download product serial numbers will be automatically registered to your account for you. Check in My Products for your serial number.

 

Virtual Instruments will include multiple downloads. These include software downloads and sound content downloads. These are listed as separate downloads.

 

To get your software, and plug-in downloads, use the Authorization Manager or use your IK Multimedia account's My Products section.  The download option to the right of your product title will be for your software. Select the correct version for your operating system.


Any included sound library content can be downloaded from My Products. These will be listed in the Sounds Downloads section of your product title. Make sure to open this window to see and download all available downloads. Multiple files can be selected with your systems Command (Mac) or Control (Windows) keys.

Sound Library content will come in separate downloads. This allows for easier management of downloading and installing.

 

To find your downloads, use the Sounds Download section of your product inside of your My Products area of the IK site. This will open a pop-over window which allows multiple downloads at a time. Multiple files can be selected with your systems Command (Mac) or Control (Windows) keys. We recommend a high-speed Internet connection to download sound content.

 

Please note that Sounds downloads remain available for download from your IK User Area for a period of 180 days after registration.

After selecting your product in the IK webstore, go to your Shopping Cart. Here, you have 2 fields to enter promo codes or your JamPoints to apply discounts to your total order.

In the field titled JamPoints, you can now create a JamPoints discount coupon directly within the Store as you order. Insert the amount of JamPoints in the provided field that you would like and click redeem. Once done, you will see the discount reflected on-screen.

IMPORTANT: Please note that a maximum of 30% off can be used with JamPoints.

Promo Codes can be inserted in the provided Promo Code field. Once inserted, click add. The promo code will be applied to your order before checkout to show your new pricing.

Please log into the IK webstore using your IK Multimedia account's Username and Password. For your convenience, you now have just one Username and Password for accessing both the IK webstore and IK user area.

Important: Please note that your Username and Password for the previous version of the IK online store are no longer valid.

If you need to adjust your User Name or your Password for any reason, go to your User Area and use the My Account page to edit this information.

To reset your Password for any reason, click here, or use the "Forgot username and/or password" link on the IK log in page. This page will also be used if you have forgotten your User Name.

SampleTank 4 CS and Syntronik Free will offer a free set of sounds for all IK Multimedia users. These sounds along with your free copies of SampleTank 4 CS and Syntronik Free are listed in My Products. Download both your software and sound content. These are separate downloads. Once installed, use the Authorization Manager to authorize the serial granted to your in My Products.

Important: For new users, the SampleTank 4 software and sound content are suggested to be installed to their default locations.

MODO BASS and Hammond B-3X can be tried for a period of 10 days. After this period white noise bursts will occur until the software is authorized. Use the download link here to get started with your MODO BASS demo. Use the download link here to get started with your Hammond B-3X demo.

Both AmpliTube 4 CS and T-RackS 5 CS will offer a trial period for the different gear offered in the Custom Shop.

To start this trial period, follow these steps:

  1. Download, install, and open AmpliTube 4 CS or T-RackS 5 CS.
  2. Authorize your software using your serial number from My Products and the Authorization Manager.
  3. Use the Shopping Cart logo in your software to open the Custom Shop (In AmpliTube 4 look for this in the upper right hand corner, in T-RackS 5, look to the lower right hand corner).
  4. Once the Custom Shop is opened, log-in to your IK account and select the gear you are interested in by clicking the "Try" option.
  5. Once this process completes, you should be good to go!

IMPORTANT: Make sure to keep the Custom Shop open during your trial period.This will act as your registration key. Internet access is required for the trial period.

Purchasing a Boxed Retail version of our software will involve IK shipping the physical boxed product to your address. This will include a USB key or DVD with your software included. Boxed Retail versions of our software will include a slightly higher pricing due to shipping and materials.

 

Purchasing a Downloadable Only version of our software does not incur any shipping costs and your product will be immediately added to My Products.

 

Regardless of your method of purchase, when you install your software, a PDF copy of the manual is installed to your hard drive. A copy of your software and user manual will be stored in My Products for your convenience.

No, only one discount or promotional code can be used per product in the IK webstore or Custom Shop.

Any iRig designed to send audio signal can be used to stream. Keep in mind however, most iRig units are designed for a mono input. For example, the iRig 2, iRig HD 2, iRig Pro I/O, iRig Pre HD and iRig Pre.

Note: When using a mono iRig device, do not send a stereo signal into the unit. Due to the wiring of the input of mono devices, sending a stereo signal can cause issues with sound.

If you are streaming stereo audio from a mixer, DJ set-up, or anything with line-level output the iRig Stream is the best option for your streams. This will allow for your signal to be sent into it's RCA input and monitored through it's onboard 3.5mm headphone port. This headphone port will also allow a headset (CTIA/AHJ wiring standard) for narrating your performances.

For sending two balanced sources into iOS, like two XLR cables, check out iRig Pro Duo I/O. This powerful tool will allows for two combo jack input (XLR & 1/4") for almost any kind of input to be sent to Mac/PC, iOS, or Android.

Inserting JamPoints™ to an order creates a temporary Promo Code. Promo Codes expire 2 hours after generating them in the IK Online Shop. If you do not use the Promo Code within the 2 hours they are generated, the unused JamPoints™ will go back to your balance and you may use them at another time.

Likewise, if you have applied JamPoints™ towards an order and that order is cancelled or failed during processing, your account may show those JamPoints™ as still used or missing. The JamPoints™ will be reapplied to your account, usually within minutes but in some cases, may take up to a few hours.

JamPoints™ expire after 24 months at the end of the quarter. On the JamPoints™ page in your User Area,  it displays when your JamPoints™ were generated.

No. JamPoints are reward points earned from qualifying products that are registered to your IK Multimedia account. You can then use JamPoints to discount future purchases made in the IK webstore or in the Custom Shop.

Custom Shop Gear Credits are the currency of the Custom Shop.
They can be purchased either in the IK webstore or in the Custom Shop and used to pay up to $0.5 per credit (see more below). With the Gear Credits in your Custom Shop account, you can use those towards purchases of a-la-carte gear in the Custom Shop or towards Collections that appear in the Custom Shop.

What is a Crossgrade?

 

A Crossgrade is simply a discounted price for users who own another qualifying IK product already.  Its not an upgrade, as it does not require a previous version of the same earlier product version, as normally one would find with an upgrade offer. To qualify for a Crossgrade to another product, you must be registered with a paid version of another IK Multimedia product over $/€ 99 or higher. This allows for any IK user to expand into our wide range of music creation tools.

There is no loss of a previous license, only a discount!

A Crossgrade example would be if someone owns AmpliTube software but is now interested in keyboards and wants Miroslav Philharmonik 2. Instead of purchasing the full version, a discounted Crossgrade option is available at a lower price

An example of an Upgrade would be if someone owns the SampleTank 4 SE software but is now interested in SampleTank 4 or SampleTank 4 MAX. Instead of purchasing the full version, a discounted Upgrade option is available at a lower price.

To qualify for a MAXgrade to another product, you must be registered with a qualifying version of that product. This allows for serious IK users to expand their collections at a discounted price.

An example of an MAXgrade would be if someone owns the AmpliTube MAX software collection, but is now interested in Total Studio 2 MAX. Instead of purchasing the full version, a discounted MAXgrade option is available at a lower price.

This is a general error which could mean a couple of things. To start, this could be a result of pressing "Back" after ordering your product. While the error shows, your order still went through. To see the status of your order at any time, go to My Orders.

This could also be an issue with your browser's cache or cookies. Be sure to try clearing these, or trying another browser for purchase.

If your issues persist, try purchasing from a cellular network as opposed to your WiFi connection, or wait some time before trying to order again.

Before trying to order again, we strongly suggest checking your My Orders page to see the status of your order.

Below are explanations of each of the different order statuses.

Received
This status is to show you confirmation that your order was received. When this status appears, you will be sent a confirmation email. Check your Junk/Spam folders if you did not see this.

In Progress

Upon being entered into our system and processed, you will see your order status change to in progress. This means your product is in queue to be packaged and shipped.

When purchasing a pre-order or an out of stock item, this will appear before your item is shipped. Don't worry, this just means we're holding your place in line to get your product to you as soon as we can. To check the stock of an item, select the "Buy Now" option in the IK web store. This will display in the pop-up window which appears.

*If your order states in progress, your order is being completed as fast as possible. Please refrain from opening a support ticket if you see this status. This will be updated as soon as possible and upon being changed you will receive an email notification.

Shipped

Once your item leaves our warehouse, your order will change to shipped, and you will receive another email notification. This will include your tracking information.

Completed

The order has been completed. If you have not yet received your order, give the item until the end of the day to arrive. If after 24 hours you have not received your item and your order states "Completed", please check the status of your tracking number in My Orders.

Void

The order has been cancelled or voided. If this is incorrect, contact our support team by scrolling to the bottom of this page.
