The Role

Yocto Embedded Developer
Location: Italy

Main Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain custom Linux Embedded distros using the Yocto Project
  • Configure and tune the Linux kernel with preempt-rt patches for low-latency audio performance
  • Develop, integrate, and set up drivers for in-house embedded platforms
  • Create and maintain BSPs (Board Support Packages) for ARM-based hardware
  • Support the hardware team with integrating new components and peripherals
  • Generate system images, toolchains, and custom Yocto layers
  • Analyze and optimize system performance — reduce jitter, latency, and resource usage
  • Work closely with the application team to ensure audio software compatibility and performance

The Quality Manager is responsible for defining, implementing, and monitoring quality management systems, ensuring that products and processes comply with company, regulatory, and industry standards. Electronics Hardware Engineer
Location: Italy

Due to expansion and addition of a new department, we are looking to recruit an Electronics Hardware Engineer to join our team. This is a full time position based at our company headquarters in Modena, Italy.

Key skills / Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have no less than 3 years experience in audio electronics engineering including:

  • Schematics and multilayer PCB layout design for mixed signal high quality audio devices

Firmware Engineer

Do to expansion, we are looking for a full time position for a Firmware Engineer to join our team.

Key skills / experience:

  • The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience developing embedded firmware.
  • Fluent in the C programming language with excellent programming skills.
  • Strong understanding of device level programming for microcontroller-based embedded systems.
  • Experienced in device driver and board support package development.
  • Familiarity with various communication busses such as UART, SPI, I2C, I2S, etc..

The ideal candidate should have a firm understanding of online performance marketing, including advertising with Google, Facebook, Amazon, social media or and similar platforms. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and marketers, you will be responsible for managing ad campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are a must. Experience in the musical instrument market is a big plus.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Execute and monitor ad campaigns for various IK products across Google Adwords, Merchant Center, Facebook for Business, Amazon AMS and other relevant advertising and social media platforms .
  • Review, analyze and optimize ad spending and performance to maximize returns.
  • Monitor and report on key performance marketing metrics, including conversion rates, cost per conversion, and return on ad spend.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
