When in Stage mode, UltraTuner is streamlined to work as a straightforward, ultra-accurate tuner. Its simple interface makes it easy to read tuning information in both low and high-intensity lighting situations. This is made possible by its bright, LED-like bars that light yellow to indicate degrees from pitch and light green when the note is in tune. And because UltraTuner utilizes your device's entire screen, it's easily visible from a distance on any stage.
UltraTuner is versatile. It lets you effortlessly switch between a standard tuning environment and one that displays the full breadth of its proprietary pitch time tracking. Studio mode allows you to monitor and track the accuracy of the pitch of a note over time, in real time. This is extremely useful for vocal and ear training purposes and also for musicians who play non-chromatic instruments like violin, fretlass bass, brass instruments, woodwinds and more.
Studio mode offers two different visualizations of pitch: pitch over time and a proprietary oscilloscope waveform display. The oscilloscope display provides an animated waveform that stays till when on pitch and moves left or right when flat or sharp. This visualization is perfectly suited for vocal training and non-chromatic instrument pitch monitoring.
In the settings window, you can quickly and easily calibrate the “A” note so you can play with anyone. You can also change the temperament type (a professional feature not found in most tuners), and adjust the audio input sensitivity. Temperament selection includes: Equal, Pythagorean, Just Major, 1/4 Comma Mean Tone, Kimberger III, Werckmeister III, Young and Kellner.
