On-axis, the three Precision models have essentially the same frequency response. So, which model is right for you? It all comes down to your sonic preference.
At the top of the range, the iLoud Precision MTM MKII uses a symmetrical midwoofer-tweeter-midwoofer configuration to deliver the highest SPL, exceptional stereo imaging, and the most focused sweet spot — ideal for critical work.
The Precision 5 MKII and Precision 6 MKII models offer the same linear-phase, time-coherent response in more compact formats. Their slightly wider dispersion characteristics can feel more familiar in untreated or smaller rooms, making them a perfect choice for versatile studio setups that don't compromise on detail or accuracy.
All three models deliver class-leading clarity, articulation, and low-end extension — the choice depends on your space, workflow, and personal preferences for monitoring.
Ideal for immersive setups
In addition to self-calibrating to the listening environment, iLoud Precision MKII features a range of low- and high-frequency management options — including a switchable Full/35/50/65/80 Hz extension — to optimize performance in Atmos® and other immersive configurations. Each model also features built-in mounting points (bottom and rear), making them easy to integrate into wall- or ceiling-mounted multichannel setups.
