Can I use iRig 2 for streaming?

Please do note, the iRig 2 is a mono audio device. Make sure you are not sending a stereo signal into the iRig 2. This might cause issues with your sound.

If you are using a Lightning -> Headset adapter, we have seen mixed results with non-Apple brand adapters.

While the iRig 2 is mainly designed for guitar input, you can use this to stream your audio. For best results, make sure to check your audio signal with iRig Recorder 3 LE or a similar app before going live. This is a free app.

If this information does not help, please use iRig Recorder 3 LE to send us a recording of your sound so we may look into this further. Send this to our support team for extra help.

If this does help, we do want to mention in your situation, the iRig Stream might be a better option. This will allow you to stream high-quality audio in stereo (RCA input) with a universal digital audio interface. Read more here or check our our FAQ on what you need for streaming:
