ENGL Ampthology Vol. 1に収録されているすべての Tone Model は、プロフェッショナルなスタジオ・セッションと同品質を目指し、細心の注意を払い高精度でキャプチャーされています。各サウンドは、オリジナルのアンプの特性を忠実に再現するだけでなく、すぐにミックスできる品質を兼ね備えています。

本コレクションには、E212VB、E212 VHB、E412 Vintage、E412VSB Pro、E412 XXL、E412 XXL Bなど、それぞれのアンプのトーンに最適な ENGL のキャビネットが選択されています。

リグの深み、パンチ、ハーモニクスを余すところなく捉えるため、ENGL のトーン・マスターは、複数のマイク（Shure SM57、Sennheiser MD421、AKG C414、Royer R121、Audix i5、Sennheiser MD441など）を使用し、最適なセッティングを模索し、収録しています。
