MIDI Thru
What makes iRig MIDI special is that it not only has a MIDI IN and OUT, but also a MIDI Thru. This makes it very useful in any live setup where there is no MIDI interface available, or if you want to connect your synths without a computer.

Verdict
For use 'on the road' I can definitely recommend the iRig MIDI. I own the Line6 device as well, but I prefer the IK Multimedia device because of the MIDI Thru option!

Midi THRU
