"When composing the music for the HP commercial. I recorded Marcus Perez beatboxing a bit, having him perform various sounds and rhythms. Then, I listened back and just started 'chop up' pieces of the performance and lay it out across the iRig Pads. Now having all of these different pieces of the performance at my fingertips, I just started to play around and creating different patterns until I locked on a groove I liked. From there, I brought SampleTank 3 in by scrolling thru sounds until I found a keyboard patch I liked. I then added reverb and distortion right within the plug-in itself. SampleTank really allows you to tweak a preset really fast and give it your own unique touch. It allows you the ability to add additional color with the onboard effects before even recording it into your DAW which is great. After laying all the parts down, I added T-Racks to Marcus's vocal drum sounds to make them punch through the mix."

"Speed is super important for getting out an idea and with iRig Pads and SampleTank, I can get my ideas out with such speed, it never slows down my creative process. That's why I use it so much on my productions. I use them all over on my new album 'And The Love Disrupt' coming out late June 2016, and I've used Sampletank and T-Racks on past productions. Including my single 'Hot Girls' which was featured in the movie '22 Jump Street,' AmpliTube is used on my song 'Up In Here' which was used in the Oscar - Nominated film 'Captain Phillips' which starred Tom Hanks. SampleTank's strings are used on the orchestral score I did for the beginning of Taylor Swift's MTV VMA Award-winning music video 'I Knew You Were Trouble'. IK Multimedia products are always my go-to tools in my musical productions."
