TONEX Preset Sharing on ToneNET

Launching a new way to discover, share and play complete, performance-ready rigs.

IK Multimedia has launched Preset Sharing for TONEX, expanding ToneNET into a music-driven platform where players can explore and share complete presets built from full signal chains.

Building on IK's AI Machine Modeling™ technology, TONEX already allows guitarists and bassists to capture real amps, cabinets and pedals with stunning realism. With Preset Sharing, users can now move beyond individual Tone Models and jump straight into full rigs designed for real musical situations.

A TONEX Tone Model captures the sound of a specific amp, pedal or rig, while a preset combines that Tone Model with effects, routing and settings into a complete, playable sound. With ToneNET Preset Sharing, users can easily share and discover presets inspired by songs, artists, genres or styles.

The update also introduces a redesigned signal chain featuring skeuomorphic, pedal-style modules, offering a more intuitive and familiar workflow when building and editing presets.

Hundreds of presets are already available on ToneNET, with new sounds added daily by the global TONEX community, IK Multimedia and official Tone Partners. Users can also experience Premium Tone Models inside complete presets, hearing them in full signal chains before purchasing.

Preset Sharing is fully integrated across the TONEX ecosystem. Presets can be browsed and downloaded within TONEX software or mobile, then transferred directly to TONEX hardware, including TONEX Pedal, TONEX ONE and TONEX Plug, ensuring a seamless workflow from studio to stage.

ToneNET Preset Sharing is available now in TONEX version 1.11.0 as a free update for all users via the IK Product Manager.
