UNO and MixBox up for Awards

NAMM TEC names two IK products for outstanding technical achievement

IK Multimedia is pleased to announce that two IK products have been nominated by the NAMM Foundation for the 2021 TEC Awards, recognizing their outstanding technical achievement.

Our finalists are the UNO Synth Pro in the category of "Musical Instrument Hardware" and MixBox for iPad in the category of "Audio Apps & Hardware/Peripherals for Smartphones & Tablets."

We're proud of these products and how well they are being received by musicians and industry peers. We look forward to the final votes being cast this fall and to the winners being announced for each category. We'll share whatever news happens then.

37th Annual Technical Excellence & Creativity Awards

Presented annually by The NAMM Foundation, the TEC Awards recognizes the individuals, companies and technical innovations behind the sound of recordings, live performances, films, television, video games and multimedia. Award categories span 22 Technical Achievement and 7 Creative Achievement Categories.

Now in its 37th year, the Awards are widely recognized as the highest honor dedicated to the pro audio and sound recording industry. It's where the most outstanding products in the worlds of music-making, live performances, video games, television and films are recognized and where creative luminaries like Les Paul, Peter Frampton, Quincy Jones, Joe Perry, Pete Townshend, Stevie Wonder and Joni Mitchell are celebrated for their musical contributions.

Through its Hall of Fame, the TEC Awards honors the pioneers of audio technology and the music industry's most accomplished producers and audio technicians. The Les Paul Innovation Award pays tribute to musical artists and others whose work has exemplified the creative application of audio technology. TECnology Hall of Fame celebrates innovations and groundbreaking technical achievements of the past.
