Will my older gear work inside AmpliTube 5?

Yes. All modules from AmpliTube 4 included in AmpliTube 5 will load without any extra cost in AmpliTube 5 CS. For the new features and gear, we suggest expanding to AmpliTube 5 SE, AmpliTube 5, or AmpliTube 5 MAX.

Do long-time or new AmpliTube 4 users get an option to upgrade to AmpliTube 5?

Yes. All IK users will receive free AmpliTube 5 CS (Custom Shop) version. This version allows you to load all of your existing gear in the new version. Do note, this includes a limited feature set, so for the complete AmpliTube 5 experience we do suggest expanding to AmpliTube 5 SE, AmpliTube 5, or AmpliTube MAX.

Any customer who purchases AmpliTube 4 or any IK hardware package that includes AmpliTube 4 after October 15, 2020, will automatically receive an upgrade to AmpliTube 5 SE.

For users who own all of the gear they want, but just want to get the new features, AmpliTube 5 SE or AmpliTube 5 are excellent introductions into the new world of tonal possibilities.

What new gear can users who own all of the gear in AmpliTube 4 and the Custom Shop look forward to in AmpliTube 5?

Outside of the new features and tonal possibilities, AmpliTube 5 offers 129 brand new gear models, including 2 new stomps, 5 acclaimed amps, and 19 racks FX derived from T-RackS and redesigned specifically for AmpliTube 5, 2 new rooms and over 100 completely re-captured cabinets.

When purchasing an AXE I/O bundled with AmpliTube 5 bundle, is the software included offered as a Digital Download or USB (Boxed) copy?

When purchasing the “AXE I/O + AmpliTube 5 MAX”, or “AXE I/O SOLO + AmpliTube 5” bundle, the included software downloads will be Digital Delivery.

Do Total Studio 2 MAX users get a copy of AmpliTube 5?

No. Only users who purchase AmpliTube 4 (this includes AmpliTube MAX or any AmpliTube version) or any IK hardware package that includes AmpliTube 4 after October 15, 2020, will automatically receive an upgrade to AmpliTube 5 SE.

Do I qualify if my copy of AmpliTube 4 was from a dealer?

Yes. As long as your serial is registered in the proper time frame, you will still receive AmpliTube 5 SE.

Do note, only users who purchase AmpliTube 4 (this includes AmpliTube MAX or any AmpliTube version) or any IK hardware package that includes AmpliTube 4 after October 15, 2020, will automatically receive an upgrade to AmpliTube 5 SE.
