Is ARC Studio bypass really a bypass?

Yes. The ARC Studio processor has a true relays electrical bypass. This means when bypassed the system literally connects the XLR outputs to the inputs with wires, and totally disconnects the ARC Studio processor.

This is also important in case of electrical source or PSU failure, the system will automatically switch to hard-bypass allowing your monitoring to continue to work. This is specifically important in mobile or remote broadcasting studios where reliability and dependability of the gear is a must.
