What is a public beta?

Beta software refers to software that is constantly undergoing testing and development which has not yet been officially released. The beta phase follows the alpha phase, but precedes the final version. Some beta software is only made available to a select number of users, while other beta programs are released to the general public.

Important: Beta software is not supported by technical support!

In the case of the SampleTank Editor, there will not be an official release and support will not be able to assist with getting started or set up. Instead, a user forum can be used to discuss use, tips, and tricks with other users. Access this forum at the link below.
