How do I use the advanced (4-point) or quick (single point) calibration on the iLoud MTM MKII?

The iLoud MTM MKII feature two different ways to calibrate to your listening environment. Both will create an ideal mixing environment for you and each have their own benefits, below we'll cover each of these quickly. For more in-depth information, check out your full user manual.

The first option is accessed by holding the CAL (Calibration) button on the back of your speakers* to enter the process, then tapping CAL again to start the calibration sweep. This will be a quick, single point calibration, perfect for those on-the-go.

*For single point calibration, make sure you're using the latest firmware update. This update will be made available upon connecting your speaker to the X-Monitor software, which is included with your product after registration in IK Product Manager. For older firmware versions, you the device will only use a 4-point calibration and requires you to press CAL after each point has completed to continue to the next point.

The second option is to use the X-Monitor software to run through the 4-point, or advanced correction. This will go more in-depth into the correction of your space offering a more true correction. After you've connected your speaker using the drop-down menu in either the upper right or left hand corner of X-Monitor, click the Calibration button to begin.
