Examiner.com tests out the new iRig PRO

"iRig PRO accepts virtually every type of audio and MIDI input, making it the most versatile compact interface on the market"

Examiner.com is a top 100 website, reaching over 37 million unique visitors a month. They launched in April 2008, and have grown to over 100,000 contributors of interesting, entertaining, and relevant content on a variety of topics. Check out their thoughts when they tested out the new iRig PRO to record a new song on their iPad!

Reviewer David Albert Cox has been an active contributor of music technology articles to Examiner.com since 2009. David decided to test iRig PRO by using it to record a song on his iPad using Garageband, a MIDI keyboard, a Fender stratocaster, and his bass guitar!

David was very pleased with the results he got, and how well iRig PRO handled this setup. Here are a few of his comments below, as well as his recording that he uploaded to SoundCloud!

"I have to say that iRig PRO is one of the best products IK has put out yet."

"Mac users will also enjoy the inclusion of premium software with iRig PRO, like AmpliTube, T-RackS and SampleTank, and will appreciate the unit's compatibility with any type of music-creation software."

"I admit I was very surprised how the LED indicator on the iRig pro kept its own around the orange level and never peaked."

"Another advantage that this product has (versus competitors) "is that it is small. Very small. Small enough to put in your pocket."

"Usually going directly in with a bass guitar to any electronic device can be asking for disaster, but the iRig PRO did its job once again and held the levels true, with the same settings I'd used for the strat. Very nice."
