Stoner Blues-Rock clip (mostly Orange amp models)

Here's a somewhat embryonic instrumental demo that should become a heavy, stonerish blues-rock style song. It came out of a jam on the main riff from ye olde Grand Funk Railroad classic "Sin's a Good Man's Brother", but then started changing into something else along the way. So I've appropriated it as my own and dubbed it "Bad Man".



This was recorded in GarageBand; there's a single guitar track done with a Gibson LP Std loaded with BKP Crawler pickups running into the Orange Thunderverb 200 model (with accompanying 4x12s) in AT 3; the bass is a Rickenbacker 4001 also into the Thunderverb 200 model though with one Orange 4x12 and the Ampeg 810 cab. I could post the presets to the Preset XChange if anyone would like them. I programmed the drums in Doggiebox using old Natural Studio samples, and used a stock Apple piano loop for the intro and outro.

From its current ending, I want this piece to continue by launching into rockin', groovin' ZZ-Top-meets-Black-Sababth-style jam section before ultimately returning to the big main riff. One of my mates who also is working on some other stuff with me has started coming up with some lyrics .... (I can, but hate, to write lyrics! )

But ... all in good time! (Or, more likely, _bad_ time!)
