Vote for new gear to be modeled in AmpliTube!

Postby Sonic Squids » Tue Jan 03, 2012 4:42 pm

Hello! This is Dave (aka Squids) from Sonic Reality. I'm going to be participating in some cool gear round ups for 2012 with pictures, videos and all sorts of gear talk stuff. I'm a vintage stomp box collector myself and some of my own collection has been sent to IK HQ in Italy to model over the years. I'm looking forward to a new YEAR OF GEAR in 2012!

Here's an opportunity for you to make some requests on gear to be modeled for future releases in the Custom Shop! The idea of the Custom Shop is for you, the guitarist, bassist (or even keyboardist and other instruments too) to be able to cherry pick all the amp and effects gear you ever wanted and more. It's a virtual collection that most musicians and producers could only dream of owning in hardware. Some of these vintage amps and effects are so hard to find and expensive that the only way any of us can have a taste of its magic is through a model! AmpliTube Custom Shop is the ultimate source for that. Overall the modeled amps and effects give us more variety of tones to choose from than anywhere else and that is cutting edge and really cool!

So, gear-heads unite! What would YOU like to see modeled in future AmpliTube CS releases? Your answers may be factored into the decision of what to model next!

If you like to look at gear shots then check out a new album I am helping to make on IK's Facebook page where we'll see pictures of gear that could potentially be modeled in AmpliTube's future. Your vote will be heard by clicking the "like" button or commenting on the picture! It's also fun to see some more cool gear so I'll see you there! http://www.facebook.com/ikmultimedia

Alright gear lovers. It's time to start the voting! You can request it here or you can look at the gear and imagine how awesome it would be to have in your AmpliTube rig! The best part is you may just be able to affect what happens in Custom Shop's future!

Nominate the gear YOU want to see modeled, and you may see them added to the vote, too!

More bass gear in general would be nice. Specifically more gallien krueger amps like something from the RB series, Mesa tube bass amps, and maybe a "bass big pig" based off the green Sovtek big muff.

Mmm, yes, Marshall Super Bass! And, yes, some Orange Bass amps. (Though I recently tried playing around with the Orange Thunderverb 200 for my bass, and it was pretty good fun. :)

For guitar, I would not mind seeing some Laney options in there, either! :)
