Sonik Synth™ 2, T-RackS® SampleTank®2 and AmpliTube® hit the Sci-Fi Screen 
Mark Jackson, producer and composer for Hollywood movie legend Robert Evans, producer of legendary films such as The Godfather, Chinatown, Cotton Club and more. He is currently working on a theme for a sci-fi thriller feature film. Here's what he had to say on the creative uses for IK's music production software: "This rough draft of the theme song was written by Josh Kelley (Hollywood Records), Taylor Cronk, and myself. It also features Ben Peeler (The Wallflowers, Shakira) on the lap steel. Since the movie is space oriented, the producers wanted a theme that was sparse in instrumentation with tons of ambient strings, haunting pads, thick acoustic guitars, and of course beautiful vocals. Having produced several songs for Josh Kelley, and knowing he has one of the most dynamic voices out there today, he was a perfect fit to bring it all together." "I used Sonik Synth™ 2 for all of the space-oriented pads, AmpliTube® for the electric guitars and acoustics, and SampleTank® 2 for the amazing string sounds. In the end, I used AmpliTube for all of the reverbs, and delays, I think I had about 10 stereo tracks of AmpliTube aux effects. I did this because the producers wanted something different sounding, I figured what the hell, give it a shot. Even the vocals were run through it! I don't think people realize how warm, functional, and high quality the effects are in AmpliTube! It really made the sound of the song unique." "So after I laid down all of the instruments I ran it through the T-Racks® Mastering Suite.
