AmpliTube 1 LE is IK Multimedia’s guitar amp & Fx modeling introduction to the massively powerful AmpliTube 2 plug-in. AmpliTube 1 LE features 3 amp models, 3 cabinet models, 4 effects models, and a built-in tuner. This combination of features offers a lot of creativity and flexibility, but is only the first step to the unlimited possibilities offered in the award winning AmpliTube 2.

By using different amp and cabinet models in AmpliTube LE, you can create 9 different guitar amp configurations.

The larger, full featured AmpliTube 2 offers over 20,000 different guitar amp configurations, allowing separate components of the guitar amp such as the pre-amp, EQ, and cabinet to be mixed and matched allowing the possibility of building your own customized amps. With 14 Pre-amp models, 14 EQs, 7 Power Amps, 16 Cabinets and 6 different Microphones, an unbelievable 20,000 amp combinations are possible.

Effects in AmpliTube 1 LE vs. AmpliTube 2
AmpliTube 1 LE’s 4 built in effect models feature some of the key sound sculpting tools (reverb, delay, overdrive, and wah) used by many guitarists. These are hardwired into AmpliTube 1 LE’s signal path to create a simple and efficient way to use them.

If you upgraded to AmpliTube 2, that number of guitar pedal effects escalates to 19. Included in these models are some of the most popular and sought after effects pedals ever including Fuzz, Chorus, Phaser, Compressor, Envelope filter, and delay, just to name a few. Some of these effects, if purchased individually, would cost more than the entire AmpliTube 2 plug-in! You can use these effects in a 6+6 effects chain in any order you can imagine.

Also, in AmpliTube 2, the effects don’t end with stomp pedal models. There are also 11 modeled rack effects, including rotory speaker effect, pitch shifter, tube compressor, EQ, Harmonizer, digital delay, digital reverb, and more. These can be used in a 4+4 rack effects setup, after the Cabinet stage of AmpliTube 2.

AmpliTube 1 LE features a Tuner that effectively displays the note value and whether you are sharp or flat.

AmpliTube 2’s tuner also features a tuner, but with finer tuning capability. It allows change your tuning reference, gives you a “cents” value for increased accuracy, and the tuning display is much more precise and visually interactive.

AmpliTube 2 also allows for two independent signal paths. So you can create a guitar setup that can be switched between two different amp, stomp, cabinets, mic, or effects chains.
